What to Expect in the Sessions

Therapy sessions are designed to offer you a consistent, supportive space to explore what’s going on in your life. I offer individual sessions lasting 60 minutes, with the option to work short-term or on an open-ended basis, depending on what feels right for you.

Couples and family therapy sessions are also available and can be booked for either 60 or 90 minutes. These longer sessions provide additional time to work through shared experiences and communication patterns in more depth.

To help make therapy more accessible, I offer discounted rates for block bookings of five or more sessions when paid in advance. I also provide a free 15-minute telephone consultation, so you can ask questions, share what’s bringing you to therapy, and decide whether you’d like to move forward.

Sessions can take place online, by phone, or via email, offering flexibility to suit your lifestyle and comfort. Whether you’re just beginning or returning to therapy, we can work together to find a pace and format that supports you best.

Session Fees

Therapy is an investment in your wellbeing, and I aim to make the process as transparent and accessible as possible. Your initial 15-minute consultation call is completely free, giving you a chance to ask questions and decide whether working together feels right for you.

Session fees vary slightly depending on the service and specific needs. Here’s a general guide:

  • Individual Therapy (Online):From £70
  • Couples Therapy (Online):From £90
  • Family Sessions (Online):From £120

If you’re ready to commit to regular sessions, I offer discounted rates for advance block bookings:

  • 6 Sessions:Save £20
  • 8 Sessions:Save £30
  • 10 Sessions:Save £40

Payment can be made via bank transfer or Stripe, and I kindly ask that payment is received three days prior to your appointment. Sessions may be cancelled if payment hasn’t been made in advance.

If you have any questions or would like to discuss your circumstances, please get in touch. I’m happy to explore what feels manageable and supportive for you.

Breaks and Holidays

As part of the rhythm of the therapeutic process, there may occasionally be breaks in our work together, for example, during public holidays or pre-planned time away. I will always do my best to give you plenty of notice in advance of any scheduled breaks on my part, so that we can plan around them with care and clarity.

In the same spirit, I kindly ask that you let me know as early as possible if you have any upcoming holidays or commitments that may affect your sessions. This helps us maintain consistency where we can and allows us to make thoughtful arrangements in advance.

Therapy works best when it’s steady and supported, and part of that is knowing when pauses will occur and having space to prepare for them together.

Contract

Once we’ve agreed on a date for your initial therapy session, I’ll send over a short form for you to complete ahead of our first meeting. This form includes important details such as the therapy contract, cancellation policy, and payment information.

The contract helps outline how we’ll work together and what you can expect from the therapeutic relationship, including confidentiality, session structure, and mutual responsibilities. It’s designed to offer clarity and transparency, so you feel informed and supported from the very beginning.

If you have any questions about the contract or any of the information within it, you’re always welcome to ask — we can go through anything you’d like to clarify in your first session or beforehand if needed.
